Cancellation Policy

Version 2026.2 · Updated 2026-10-07

This describes how booking, accepting, and cancelling an appointment works on GlamSpot today.

Booking a request

A customer chooses an available time slot; this creates a pending request. The provider then accepts or rejects it.

Customer cancellation

A customer can cancel a pending or accepted booking at any time before its scheduled start. Once the appointment’s start time has passed, it can no longer be cancelled through the app.

Provider cancellation

A provider can cancel an accepted booking. The customer is notified immediately.

No-shows

If a customer does not arrive, the provider can mark the booking as a no-show once its scheduled time has started.

Payment and fees

GlamSpot does not process payments for services — customers pay providers directly. GlamSpot does not charge customers any booking fee or separate cancellation fee, and does not currently charge providers a separate cancellation penalty.

Providers pay GlamSpot a platform fee on bookings they accept, as described in the Provider Agreement. That fee is paid by the provider only; it is never added to the price a customer pays, and customers do not pay it.

Admin cancellation

In exceptional cases our team may cancel a booking on a provider’s behalf (for example, if their account is suspended); both the customer and provider are notified.
